Priceless

I was just goofing around with the camera today and caught this priceless little photo.

Friends!

You know someone is a good friend when you haven't seen them for years but can still laugh and talk as if no time has even passed! These BYU-Hawaii friends are those kind of friends.
We all had such a good time talking about the good 'ol days in Laie, and more specifically, TVA! I could hang with these gals anytime!

Piano Recitals-A year of hard work (even for Mom!)

Kaela had her song memorized, but then went with the book, just in case!
Anna had a touch of nerves as well.
Kaela with Miss Tami-a wonderful and pretty piano teacher!
Piano recitals are fun since everyone there are either friends or family!
Jessa and Anna can get a little crazy. Jessa was replaying her Star Wars song for us.

Matt's Ordination

No longer do we have little boys in our home...they're all men! I can't believe it. Matt was ordained to the priesthood this past Sunday. It was a special day for him. One of the best parts was that he got to leave primary! They're so ready by the time they're 12.

Love is in the air!

Anna and Kaela were all a buzz about love and romance at school. Anna and some of her friends were asked to be someone's valentines. Matt and his friend River were the last ones standing in the musical hearts game at Matt's school Valentines party.Emma loved all the valentines she got at school. She really liked the butterfly, but wasn't too crazy about the twinkie--smart girl! Mom and Dad went on a wintery sleigh ride up in the mountains of Park City. They ate dinner at the Viking Yurt. It was a delicious 5 course meal! The sleigh ride was a bit chilly and Dad did what he could to keep warm. Some people on the sleigh called him the headless horseman!

Bucket Heads!

Lauren and Emma thought it was funny to walk around the house with this bucket on their heads. It was pretty funny!!

Crazy things happen on Sunday!

When you go to church at 9 am and are done by noon, a lot can happen the rest of the day! We usually experience some kind of chaos around 6pm. I think by that point everyone is so stir crazy that they just have to let off some steam. Some times the steam manifests itself in a good way, like the pyramids the kids were making in this pic, and sometimes it comes out and ends up causing fights, like when the boys start wrestling and the wrestling turns into a brawl. Anyone ever experience this?

Anna's Principal Pride

Congrats Anna! Principal's Pride is where, once a week, a student from every class is presented an award for their work. Anna got the award for her animal classifications project. Great job Anna!!
