It was a hard race. I felt good for the first 15 miles, but come mile 16 my calves started cramping and I had to finish the race walking/running. Not fun. My good friend Lori Watson met me at mile 8 and ran with me for a jaunt. That was fun. My friend Traci, who ran the race too, finished with a great time, but just needed some medical attention at the end for dehydration. It's amazing how you can drink so much and still get dehydrated. The body is a wonderous thing. Troy was there cheering me on at the half way mark and at the finish. He is so supportive. Thanks Hon!

Don't think I'll give this one another try. Salt Lake Marathon, Bye Bye!

way to go kim! that is so awesome!
Congratulations! My best friends hubbie ran it a few years ago, and I don't know if they have the same route as he did, but he said that the hills about two-thirds through were BRUTAL. Mrathons are tough work, that is stellar!
